B.I.G. at the 2011 Festival of the Grape
What an amazing event! Over 9,000 people enjoyed the great weather, the music, and the wine at the 9th annual Festival of the Grape. We had a wonderful time meeting so many great people, answering questions, handing out free gifts, and letting everyone know how we can help them protect their assets. If you have never made it to this event you are missing out. We look forward to seeing you next year.
2011 Summer Basketball League Champions
The Powhatan boys won the 2011 Summer Basketball League. Thanks to all the parents and players for their hard work. The league was very competitive and every game was tightly contested. I hope to see all of you back in the winter.
U10 Powhatan Sounders - Spring 2011
Thanks to all the parents and players for a wonderful Spring 2011 Season. A special thanks to my assitant coach Tanner Barnes. The Sounders went undefeated during the season and looked strong going into the end of the season tournament. They won their first two games and made it to the championship. The game was very competitive and ended in a 0-0 tie. The Sounders lost in a shoot-out but walked off with their heads held high. Great job kids I am very proud of you. I hope to see all of you back on the pitch in the Fall.
2011 Hops and Barley Festival presented by the Rotary Club of Powhatan
5/21/2011 - The Rotary Club of Powhatan hosted the 2011 Hops and Barley Festival on Saturday 5/21/2011. The weather was beautiful and the event was a big success. Josh Gracin did a great job entertaining the crowd. The event benefactor was the USO.
